January 22, a man named Gilbert Orcine appeared on Showtime stage wearing one sided dress like a jungle man shocks the audience. He amazingly copied the personality of Rene Requiestas, a known to be comedian in the history of the of Philippine movies.
He was holding a cake since it was the birth date of the late comedian.
Chitae, a jungleman who believes to be a “gandang lalaki” or good-looking guy was one of the most distinct characters that he portrayed in his career. In his talent he sang the song, "Chitae Ganda Lalaki" which was one of the excerpts from Rene's movies. This is what Gilbert imitated. He performed as if he was Chitae and made the audience feel like Rene Requiestas was reincarnated in his body.
Gilbert’s actions and voice were very similar to the actor who passed away.
