Heavy rain was never a hindrance of the Pope to continue and finish the mass for the survivors in the Tacloban, an Island that was devastated by the typhoon “Yolanda”, 14 months ago which killed thousands of lives.
During the papal mass on January 17 2015, a 21 year old woman who was working as volunteer for the mass was killed of the tropical Storm ‘Amang” . The spokesperson of the Archdiocese, Fr. Amadeo Alvero told the reporters that the steel scaffolding crashed onto the woman hitting on her chest and got her pinned on the ground which killed her.
