A couple from Victoria on their way to a trip or vacation in Tokyo, Japan became instant parents in Air Canada flight. Why? Because the woman give birth to a baby midflight. The couples were Ada Guan and Wesley Branch. Super amazing!
Several hours before the flight, Ada felt pain in her stomach and the pain was getting worst so she was transferred to a business class for the meantime. Wesley believed that it was just a severe stomach upset or ulcer but then Ada told him that there is something fell out of her, so he lifted her pants and he saw a head and heard "Waaaah", he was surprised and said "Oh my God! I think we have a kid."
The baby named as Chloe. The couple did not expect that it will happen since Ada just took recently pregnancy test but it was negative. Ada doesn't even gain weight or showed any conditions that she's pregnant. That is really why that the couple was not able to prepared for the "GIFT". Air Canada's policy states that a pregnant woman with 'no previous history of premature labor' can fly w/in the first 36 weeks of pregnancy.
