Ricardo Dominguez, Associate professor at UCSD!
A professor in the University of California San Diego named Ricardo Dominguez was fired after the parents complained about his final requirements for the students in the subject Visual Arts 104a. Students are required to get naked with him in a room lit with candles only.

Professor Dominguez is teaching advanced visual arts for over 11 years and he said that if student is not comfortable with his/her body then she/he should not take into his class. He also said that the elective class is focused on the History of Body Art and Performance Art. Meanwhile, he also gave an option to the students that they can be emotionally/figuratively naked rather than physically naked for their final exam.

Accordingly, nudity has been considered as a form of art by early civilizations with Greeks and Romans being considered as most expressive people when it comes to this. And during early times also, sex is considered as performing art in lined with singing and dancing. The course syllabi is readily available in the internet for anyone to read and refer to.

Do you think the course requirement is appropriate? Please share your thoughts!
